Improving the Quality of Living One Family at a Time

The Lauderhill Housing Authority was established in 2005 to create home ownership opportunities in the City of Lauderhill and to encourage and facilitate investment in our community. Our mission is to assist residents in obtaining affordable housing; to promote home ownership; and to be stewards of public funds and trust, by maximizing resources and developing partnerships with the public and private sectors.

The Lauderhill Housing Authority continues to create vibrant communities, build quality affordable housing, and support the success of residents who reside in Housing Authority-owned single family homes and condominiums. Unlike traditional Housing Authorities, the Lauderhill Housing Authority does not offer the federal Housing Choice voucher program, known as Section 8. Also unlike traditional housing authorities, the Housing Authority does not receive any revenue from the Federal Government.
