The Lauderhill Housing Authority (LHA) Property Manager serves as a comprehensive property manager and leasing agent for LHA owned properties. In addition to soliciting new tenants, the Manager shows vacant rentals and model units and handles the complete application process, including screening applicants and processing rental applications, credit checks, and criminal background screenings. The Property Manager works closely with realtors and the public to inform them of vacancies and provide up to date rental guidelines, working diligently to find and approve qualified tenants.
In addition to overseeing and handling daily activities of the Property Manger’s office, the LHA Property Manager ensures that the Authority is in compliance with all Fair Housing Laws, and works with a maintenance team to address all health and safety concerns. From generating leases, scheduling move-ins and move-outs, to enforcing collection procedures related to unpaid rent, and generating renewal letters and other tenant related notices, the Property Manager works closely with tenants to ensure the best possible rental experience.
